The LinkRunner G2 and 10G units do not have native WiFi or Bluetooth support. This means if you try to enable either one, it will immediately turn back off.

However, you can enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth by using one of the two supported USB adapters. These can be purchased separately.

  • Edimax N150 (Model EW-7611ULB)
    • The new V2 is not supported.
    • The bronze/gold colored version is not supported. Make sure it is the silver one.
  • Edimax AC1200 (Model EW-7822ULC)

Firmware releases prior to v1.00.25 support only the Edimax N150.

EW-7822ULC doesn't support 5GHz DFS(Dynamic Frequency Selection) Channels, which are Channel numbers between 50 and 144.  Here are the supported 5GHz Channels for your reference.

Band 1 --> 36, 40, 44, 48
Band 4 --> 149, 153, 157, 161, 165

If your router is using Channels other than the above mentioned, EW-7822ULC won't be able to see 5GHz frequency.
