APs might be showing up as a default name rather than the assigned AP name.
An element in the beacon frame contains the Cisco AP name, and it can be enabled or disabled as an optional feature. By default, this is disabled on Cisco APs. This will be configured on the controller side of the system. Below is an example of what you need in that element. This is what the tester will look for.
